Course Objective

Course supported by CPDD.

After attending the course, participants will be able to:
1.Understand the requirement for Making Video for Oral Examination for Primary CL.
2.Make use of the different functions of iPhone/iPad or Android to take good HD video. Familiar with the use of Tripod, Light, Microphone to enhance video making.
3.Make use of composition, frame, Dolly Shot, lighting and colour to produce better video clip for editing.
4.Storyboarding, planning and execute short film.
5.Edit the video clip, add effects, voice over, add music using iMovie apps on iPad. Export and transfer to PC.


Course Outline

The course covers the following content:
1.“Making Video for Oral Examination” starts with understanding the format for the new Oral Video.
2.Using iPhone-Android HD recording technology and 3rd party Video Apps to make good recording. Participants to familiarize with tripod, lighting and microphone.
3.Capturing scene, focus on composition, split scene, Dolly Shot.
4.“Storyboarding” let participants plan for split scene to tell the story.
5.“Action” allow participants to work on actual shooting using all technics learnt.
6.iMovie Post Production on iPad, allow participants to edit video clip, add effect, sound effect, music, voice over. Editing the raw footage to a short video suitable for oral exam.
*Equipment: SmartPhone, iPad mini, iPad 3 and above. Installed iMovie Apps for iPad.
