Course Objective

After attending the course, participants will be able to:
1.Make use of the techniques learnt to produce videos of student activities, short news clip, interview etc.
2.Use iPhone, Anroid Smartphone or Digital Camera to shoot professional looking video. Edit the clip using PC Windows Movie Maker.
3.Shoot steadily, compose nicely, use angle, frame to better tell the story. Record clear voice and sound for video under different environment.
4.Use Windows Movie Maker (available in all schools PC ) to edit the video clip, add effects, add music and upload to Youtube.


Course Outline

The course covers the following content:
1.Learn to use SmartPhone and Digicam to shoot video clip like a pro. In capturing scene, focus on Stability, with hand held or Tripod. Learn technique of telling a story using different frame, angle, Dolly Shot. Planning shot for Start, story line, cut away and ending scene. Tips on better hosting and interviewing in front of camera using mic.
2.“Action!” let participants practice shooting skills learnt On- site reporting and interviewing.
3.Windows Movie Maker editing, allow participants to edit video clip, add transition effect, sound effect, music. Edit the raw footage to a 2-3 mins. short film.
