Course Objective

After the course, participants will be able to:
1.Learn the basic knowledge and the fundamental principles of language assessment.
2.Apply the principles learned into classroom practices.
3.Equip with the essential steps of designing classroom language tests.
4.Design the classroom language tests based on the knowledge and the principles learned.
5.Know the effectiveness of the reading assessment through data analysis.

The course content includes the following:
1.The basic knowledge and the fundamental principles of language assessment.
2.The application of the principles of language assessment into classroom practices.
3.The essential steps of designing classroom language tests.
4.Design the classroom language tests based on the knowledge and the principles learned.
5.Group hands-on session with sharing.
6.Analyse assessment effectiveness through basic testing tool.
