The Intermediate Station between Thinking and Writing——Design of "Thinking Template" and Its Application in Teaching of Writing

Abstract
This paper analysed the characteristics of Singapore CL2 teaching and the relationship between teaching of thinking and teaching of writing, consequently explored the strategy of merging teaching of thinking into teaching of writing. This paper pointed out that "Thinking Template" is a good strategy or tie to link these two teachings together. Furthermore, there exist two types of models for designing "Thinking Template": thinking template for explicit learning and thinking template for implicit learning. This paper also interpreted the idea, method, instructional objectives, operational procedures, objects for specific models and some extra issues need to be concerned, by providing examples taking from teaching practice.
