Abstract
This article is composed of four sections. First section elaborates the relationship between cognition and language. Cognition is acquired via language by means of 'schema'. Second section emphasizes on the models of comprehension. Third section explains the core of writing, using words to represent schema in minds. Last, the connection between reading and writing can be achieved with the help of 'schema'. Reading is from words to 'schema' while writing is from 'schema' to words.
