Abstract
With a short history of less than 20 years, Blog has transformed our perception of the web as a field of expression and even learning. This research, based on connectivism as its theoretical model, attempts to investigate the pedagogy of writing through blog - including the construction of an iWrite.sg online platform, complementing with iPad in teaching, guiding students in connective writing, etc. The case study method was used, and data is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, so as to test the feasibility of this teaching model. Results show that the blog-based connective writing teaching model could inspire students' creativity in writing.
