Abstract
The paper describes an integrated platform for Chinese Language teaching, which is based on a research and development project of "Oral Proficiency Diagnostic Tool" commissioned by Singapore MOE and the targeted teaching practice in Singapore. The platform tries to integrate the current man-machine interaction into the traditional classroom man-man interaction and build a semi-virtual interactive situation for language assessment and teaching. The platform comprises of three main sectors of speech data collection activities, oral proficiency diagnosis and targeted teaching activities bank. In the targeted teaching, explicit teaching oral activities are designed from the perspective of structured input to enhance both language forms and interactive competence.
