On 26 April 2023, Dr Zhang Limei, Dean of Academic Affairs from Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) was invited by the Curriculum Planning & Development Division (CPDD), Ministry of Education, to give a keynote speech in the Expert Lecture with the theme of "Technology in Education".

  In her lecture entitled "Providing Language Feedback Using Automated Marking Tools", Dr Zhang started with an introduction to the development of automated marking tools and their practical use in English and Chinese language teaching and learning. She then proceeded to present the Automated Chinese Essay Guiding System and Automated Essay Evaluation and Learning System developed by SCCL. Dr Zhang's lecture was well received by the participants.
