1. Chinese Idioms in Manga 

Chinese Idioms in Manga, Student Edition (above) and Teacher Edition (below)

Co-published by the NTU-SCCL Press and Lu Feng Technology Inc. from Taiwan, this comes in two versions, one for students and one for teachers, each complemented with a DVD. The DVD for students contains cartoon animations which demonstrate the usage of 48 commonly used Chinese idioms. The purpose of the animations is to improve students' listening skills and enrich their vocabulary. The printed manga book aims to promote students' interest in reading and develop their reading skills. This package will definitely be useful in helping students to master the 48 Chinese idioms while enjoying manga and animations.

The DVD for teachers contains teaching plans and learning activities with detailed explanation to the proposed teaching approaches, in addition to the animated comics found in the student edition.

Co-published by the NTU-SCCL Press and Lu Feng Technology Inc., The Little Caterpillar Pre-School Graded Picture Book Series is written for preschoolers. The first 4 titles under the Series, namely, Three-Wheeled Cart, The Snake Deity, The Orangutan Loves to Drink and The Timid Hare, are now off the press and available for sale.

Containing interesting stories and enriching activities for preschoolers, these titles are of 4 levels, suitable for children aged 3 to 7. Parents and teachers can select the appropriate title according to the children's reading ability and carry out reading activities with them, gradually moving up the level.

Each of the 4 titles comes with an interactive DVD which comprises animated stories, reading activities and MP3 files. Parents and children can have a pleasurable experience in reading while engaging in the fun-filled activities. With this picture book series, the learning of Chinese can be full of fun.
