Ms Zheng Yuanyuan is a visiting PhD candidate from Zhejiang University (China), majoring in curriculum and instruction of Chinese language education. Her recent research interest is the teaching of Chinese language and literature in Singapore.

Ms Zheng Yuanyuan 

Miss Wu Xin-Ru received her B. A. in English from National Central University and her M. A. in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL) from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). She is currently pursuing a Ph.D.degree in TCSL at NTNU and is undergoing her 6-month internship programme at SCCL. Her research interests include discourse analysis, pragmatics and writing pedagogy.

Miss Chen Wei-Chieh and Miss Lee Yi-Tien are currently studying applied Chinese language and culture at National Taiwan Normal University. Both of them are undergoing their four-month internship at SCCL. Miss Chen Wei-Chieh takes part in the research project of "Improving primary school children's Chinese writing ability through scaffolding". Miss Lee Yi-Tien takes part in two projects— "Building a corpora-based Chinese language teaching resources platform for Singapore CL teachers" and "Enhancing Singaporean children's Chinese oral language competence: the effect of teaching oral narrative skills."
