Since its establishment, Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) has had numerous discussions and collaborations with Curriculum Planning and Development Division (CPDD), MOE. The dialogue held on 28 November 2014, is the first formal sharing platform for both organizations. CPDD Deputy Director Mr Lo Chee Lin and SCCL Executive Director Dr Chin Chee Chuen expressed that this platform will bring bilateral cooperation to a new level.

In this dialogue, the Master Teachers presented SCCL's teaching toolkits to the audience while the research staff reported on their research projects. With regards to further cooperative plans, participants had extensive discussion on how to better integrate resources developed by both organisations so as to achieve mutual benefit. In addition, participants also discussed the possible invitations for colleagues from both organisations to take part in research projects and teaching materials compilation. The dialogue has facilitated communication and understanding between SCCL and CPDD.
