The 4th International Conference on the Teaching and Learning of Chinese as a Second Language (TLCSL)

To promote theoretical and practice-based researches on the Teaching and Learning of Chinese as a Second Language, Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL), a Centre of Nanyang Technological University, will be hosting the 4th International Conference on the Teaching and Learning of Chinese as a Second Language on 9 – 10 September 2015. The conference will provide experts and educators of Chinese Language a platform to exchange experiences and ideas on pedagogy. The conference is co-organised by Ngee Ann Polytechnic, National Institute of Education, SIM University and Lianhe Zaobao, and supported by Singapore Chinese Teachers' Union and Singapore Middle School Chinese Teachers' Association.

SCCL is honoured to have Dr. Andreas Guder (Free University of Berlin), Dr. Boping Yuan (University of Cambridge), Prof. Shih-Chang Hsin (National Taiwan Normal University) and Prof. Virginia Yip (The Chinese University of Hong Kong) deliver keynote speeches at the conference. A/Prof. Huizhong Shen (University of Sydney), A/Prof. Pei-Jung Lin (University of Taipei) and A/Prof. Der-Thanq Chen (Nanyang Technological University) are also our Invited Speakers.
