Miss Sak Hui Er graduated from the Division of Chinese, Nanyang Technological University. She is now an editor cum research assistant in SCCL.

        A new batch of Chinese Studies students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic joined SCCL as interns in September. They are Jin Long Feng, Chai Ming Qian and Choo Li Xuan. Jin Long Feng is involved in the research project "Context-Character form-Context: Augmented Reality Based Character Composition Game for Improving Chinese Character Recognition". Chai Ming Qian takes part in the project "A Preliminary Evaluative Study on the Implementation of the New H2 Chinese Language Syllabus for Pre-University Students in Singapore". Choo Li Xuan is involved in the project "Targeted Teaching Toolkit for Primary 1 Oral Chinese".
