CPDD-NIE-SCCL Tripartite Sharing Forum 2017
A Tripartite Sharing Forum co-organized by the Curriculum Planning and Development Department (CPDD) of MOE, Asian Languages and Culture Academic Group, National Institute of Education (NIE) and Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) was held on 4 July 2017. The participants comprised curriculum specialists, academics and researchers. The Forum provided a platform for the three parties to gain a better understanding of one another's projects and future plans and sought to engage the professionals to re-examine the future directions of Chinese language (CL) education in Singapore. It is hoped that the synergy thus created will help to enhance the teaching and learning of Chinese greatly.

A Road Map to Using Picture Books for the Nurturing of Preschoolers
"" A Talk by Dr. Cheng Wan-Ni at "Thumbs Up Little Junior Preschool Teachers Sharing Session 2017" Thumbs Up Little Junior, a publication of Singapore Press Holdings, organised a sharing session for preschool teachers on 31 May 2017 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Early Childhood Care and Education Department Launches New Titles
The Early Childhood Care and Education Department of SCCL launched the new titles "Come, Let's Celebrate! Preschool Interactive Art Book" and "Come, Let's Celebrate! Preschool Teaching Activities and Evaluation for Festivals of Singapore" on 2 June 2017 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.
