Thumbs Up Little Junior, a publication of Singapore Press Holdings, organised a sharing session for preschool teachers on 31 May 2017 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. Dr. Cheng Wan-Ni, Dean of Early Childhood Care and Education Department of SCCL, shared about the significance of reading picture books. She elaborated on topics such as "the relationship between reading picture books and child development", "the joy of learning Chinese using picture books", "picture books and class decoration", and "picture books, conversation and extended activities". Over one hundred preschool teachers attended the sharing session.
