On 18 June 2021, SCCL invited FinTech Academy to conduct an online training for staff members, on the basics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The objectives of the training are introducing the common terminologies used in AI and ML, and its current and future applications.

          In today's disruptive world, AI has created disruptions to many traditional businesses and industry sectors, and also education industry. Dr Lilian Koh, Assoc Prof William Ng, Jean Foo and Lu Xu stated that students and professionals have to understand and formulate initiatives for AI workforce readiness, and shared their experiences on using AI to achieve highly intelligence language instruction. Participants benefited a lot from their sharing.

         Among the participants were SCCL executive director, deputy executive director, Master Teachers, lecturers, research associates, and editors.
