Singapore Centre for Chinese Language and the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning will continue to co-organise the "Creativity, No Boundaries!" National Children's Story Writing Competition. The competition aims to promote local Chinese literary writing and cultivate children's interest in learning Chinese.

          Consisting of student category and open category, the competition will be receiving online submission. Student category is opened to students from primary 4-6 and secondary / high schools / junior colleges / polytechnics. The deadline for registration is 30 September 2021 (Thursday), and 30 November 2021 (Tuesday) for story submission. Open category is opened to other Singaporeans and Permanent Residents. Participants can choose to write stories on their own or with others, and submit their entries by 30 November 2021.

         Winning entries of the competition will be published as a series of Chinese graded readers for local primary students, and all Singapore primary schools will receive complimentary sets of the graded readers.
