Farewell Lunch for Mr Robin Hu

28 May 2012 marked a memorable day for both SCCL and Mr Robin Hu, who officially stepped down as the Centre's first Chairman of Board of Directors. A farewell appreciation luncheon was held in honour of Mr Hu, whose invaluable insight and guidance have helped to bring SCCL to its position today. It was a simple farewell party, but we have the honour of having Senior Parliament Secretary, Ms Sim Ann, to grace the occasion and to present our tokens of appreciation to Mr Hu.

In their heartwarming speeches, Dr Chin Chee Kuen, SCCL Director, and Dr Tan Chee Lay, Deputy Director, recounted each and every phase of the Centre's growth under Mr Hu's supervision. The specially produced video that captures the many moments of Mr Hu at SCCL was a pleasant surprise and refreshed our memory of Mr Hu's days with us.

The grand finale was the closing address by Mr Hu. He expressed his deep appreciation to all who have given him the opportunity to lead and shape SCCL. Mr Hu declared that this has been a most rewarding and memorable experience for him.

We sincerely thank Mr Hu for his invaluable contributions to SCCL and wish him every success in all his future undertaking.
