2 Overseas Masters Research Interns from Jinan University of China
Miss Yuen Hoi Lam
Miss Yuen Hoi Lam graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Applied Psychology, and is currently in her first year of the Master's program of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in Jinan University. She worked at the International Student Centre of CUHK and research centre on Rehabilitation Sciences of Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research interests include Chinese characters recognition and the cultural differences on the learning strategies of Chinese characters.
Miss Li Yana
Miss Li Yana graduated from Hunan International Economics University of China, College of Chinese and Literature (Degree) and is currently in her first year of the Master's programme in the School of Applied Linguistics, Jinan University. During her period of studies, she had published an essay titled "The abode of the homeless" in the China Education Innovation Herald. She also went to America for a "Work and Travel" programme in 2011. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, language investigation and the teaching of Chinese as a second language.
