1. Keep Clean, Singapore!

        SCCL took part in the "Keep Clean, Singapore!" programme for the fourth time on 8 August 2022 at Ghim Moh neighbourhood. SCCL staff were divided into groups of four to five persons to clean up the neighbourhood. Everyone was committed to and focused on cleaning up their allocated areas despite the hot and humid weather. After one and a half hours' hard work, we collected a total of 3.35 kilograms of recyclable waste and 22.39 kilograms of general waste. The waste comprised scraps of paper, cigarette butts, bottles, straws and other types of trash. We committed to participate in the programme as a way to fulfil our social obligations. Taking part in this programme before the National Day gives an extra meaning to our activity.

2. Learning Journey to Singrass

        On 9 September 2022, SCCL staff visited Singrass which is located at O2Work's flagship at Odeon Towers. The representative of Singrass shared about green technology and urban farming with us. Urban farming is coupled with coworking concept O2Work. She introduced the Indoor Smart Eco Farming system and how to use this system to grow vegetables at home or in the office.

        We benefited a lot from this learning journey.
