Principal of ViewSonic College and Associate Professor Lien Yujen from Taiwan Chung Yuan University visited Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) on 3 October 2022. Professor Lien gave a sharing on the topic of "Digital Whiteboard, Teaching and Bilingual Teaching".

          Professor Lien and his team introduced the application of myViewBoard in online teaching to SCCL staff, including how to use the whiteboard function to enhance the immediacy and efficiency of the interaction between teachers and students. In order to enhance the immersion of teachers and students in online teaching, and establish students' sense of belonging in online learning, they also shared how the metaverse can be applied to online teaching through the Universe, an immersive digital learning platform.

          After the sharing, Professor Lien and his team had a discussion with Dr Foo Suan Fong, Executive Director, Mr Chong Leong Chin, Deputy Executive Director and other staff on the direction and space for further cooperation between the two parties in the future.
