The award ceremony for the "2024 National Vlog Competition for Singapore Primary School Students" was held at the Ministry of Education Edutorium on 23 August, attracting around 250 guests, including award-winning students and their parents, school representatives, and members of the public.

The Guest-of-Honor was Ms Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Manpower, Chairperson, Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL). In her speech, Ms Gan remarked that this competition provided primary students with a platform to showcase their creativity and express their ideas, while also encouraging their interest in and use of the Chinese language. She encouraged the students to continue to actively use the Chinese language and develop a love for Chinese.

Representing the judging panel, Dr Kang Ger-Wen, Course Chair of the Chinese Department at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, provided an insightful evaluation of students' performance. Dr Kang commended the entries for skilfully exploring the competition theme, "Our School Life", through various perspectives and techniques, effectively capturing both the depth and breadth of the subject. He praised the impressive work of the students and their teacher mentors.
