Chinese New Year Celebration

        On 22 January 2025, Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) hosted its Chinese New Year Celebration, graced by Professor Christine Goh from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. The event kicked off with an impressive lion dance performance. Dr Foo Suan Fong, SCCL Executive Director, then delivered a speech, extending his best wishes for the New Year to all staff. The celebration featured the traditional Lo Hei sessions, with everyone joining in to wish for prosperity and success in the year ahead. Fun games and a lucky draw with exciting prizes added to the vibrant, festive atmosphere. Colleagues came together to mark the arrival of the Year of the Snake, celebrating with warmth, joy, and anticipation for the year to come.
