1. New Staff

Dr. Wen Yun
Dr. Wen Yun holds a Ph. D. in Learning Sciences and Technologies from National Institute of Education, Singapore, and has years of research experience in technology-assisted teaching and learning of Chinese. Her main research interests include computer-supported collaborative learning, computer-assisted language learning and teacher professional development. Dr. Wen is currently a lecturer at SCCL.

Dr. Lee Chee Keng
Dr. Lee Chee Keng received his Ph. D. in Theatre Studies (Directing) from the Central Academy of Drama, China. While remaining active as a director and playwright, he develops a strong interest in drama pedagogy and early childhood education. Dr. Lee is appointed as a lecturer at SCCL.

Mr. Tham Kok Yung
Mr. Tham Kok Yung graduated from the Division of Chinese, Nanyang Technological University and is a research assistant in SCCL. His research interests are Chinese history and politics.

Miss Cheng Pei Yee
Miss Cheng Pei Yee graduated from the Division of Chinese, Nanyang Technological University. She joined SCCL as an editor cum research assistant in the NTU-SCCL Press.

Miss Jessie Soh
Miss Jessie Soh graduated from Department of Communications and New Media, National University of Singapore. She joined SCCL as a project officer in the Early Childhood Care and Education Department.
2. New Interns

Tang Ming, a Ph. D. candidate at Department of Chinese Language and Bilingual Studies, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. As a visiting student, she is conducting a research on Chinese reading comprehension abilities of secondary school students in Singapore.
Luu Tran Thach Thao, a Ph. D. candidate at the Graduate Institute of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, National Taiwan Normal University. She takes part in the research projects "Validity and Usability of the Automated Essay Evaluation System" and "An Annotated Bibliography on Chinese Language Education in Singapore".
Chen Jo Tzu, a master's student from the Department of Teaching as a Second Language, Chung Yuan Christian University. She takes part in the research project "A Qualitative Study on Singapore Chinese Language Teachers' Professional Proficiency and Their Training Needs".
Liao Yu Ping, a master's student from the Department of Teaching as a Second Language, Chung Yuan Christian University. She takes part in "A Socio-educational Perspective on Young Pre-adolescents' Motivation to Learn Chinese as a Second Language in Singapore".
Guo Xinyu, an undergraduate at college of Chinese language and culture, Jinan University. She majors in Teaching Chinese as Second Language. Currently, she takes part in the research projects "Enhancing Singaporean Children's Chinese Oral Language Competence: the Effect of Teaching Oral Narrative Skills" and "An Evaluation on the iMTL portal".
Heng Dian, a master's student from the Collage of Chinese Language and Culture, Jinan University. She participates in the two research projects "The Effects of Typing and Handwriting on Chinese Character Recognition" and "Validity and Usability of the Automated Essay Evaluation System".
Ma He, currently pursuing her master's degree of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics in Jinan University. She takes part in the research project "Preliminary Evaluative Study on the Implementation of the New H2 Chinese Language and Literature Syllabus for Pre-University Students in Singapore".
Zhao Qiangqiang, currently pursuing his master's degree of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in East China Normal University. He takes part in the research project "Improving Primary School Children's Chinese Writing Ability through Scaffolding".
