The 4th International Conference on the Teaching and Learning of Chinese as a Second Language To promote research in the field of teaching and learning Chinese as a second language and to facilitate the application of research findings, Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) held its 4th International Conference on the Teaching and Learning of Chinese as a Second Language (TLCSL2015) at the Convention Centre of Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 9th to 10th September 2015. 

2015 MTL Symposium

The 4th Mother Tongue Languages (MTL) Symposium was successfully held on 29th August 2015 at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

2015 SCCL Lecture Series

In a bid to exploit the full potential of graphic-intensive readers as learning tools, Singapore Centre for Chinese Language organized a lecture series on 17 September 2015, which focused on the ways to improve teaching and learning Chinese with picture books and comics.

HOD Focus Group Discussion

: Teaching and Learning Chinese LanguageTo better engage Chinese language (CL) teachers in professional development and to assist them in dealing with various teaching challenges, the Curriculum Department of Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) organised two HOD Focus Group Discussions, one on 6 October and the other on 2 November.

The 3rd Early Childhood Conference and Carnival

The 3rd Early Childhood Conference and Carnival was held on 25 and 26 September 2015 at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre and attracted thousands of pre-school educators, parents and children. The theme of the conference was "Start Small, Dream Big: Reaching for the Stars".
