SCCL Staff Invited as Keynote Speakers

 

SCCL Deputy Executive Director Dr Tan Chee Lay was invited to be a keynote speaker at the "Reading• Writing• Creative Teaching Workshop" held in Providence University, Taiwan, from 5th to 7th March 2016. He made a speech entitled "Make your own way — The current situation of Singapore's reading/writing and Chinese education" to 300 participants at the workshop. Dr Tan was also one of the invited panelists in the Panel Discussion themed "The future and outlook of university Chinese education".

On 23rd January 2016, SCCL Executive Director Dr Chin Chee Kuen was invited to deliver a keynote speech on the subject of "Authentic learning with ICT in Chinese language: Singapore's experience" at the First Online and Mobile Innovation Model Learning Chinese International Conference held in Guangzhou.

On 28th November 2015, Dr Tan Chee Lay was invited to the 7th International Chinese Conference as a keynote speaker, and made a speech on "Authentic learning with ICT: A novel model for Chinese teaching and learning in Singapore".
