SCCL participated in the 8th Teachers' Conference from 31 May to 1 June 2016. At its learning booth, SCCL showcased several teaching resources developed by its research teams, including the "Automated Essay Evaluation System", the "Chinese Language Teaching Resources Platform", teaching toolkits and graded children books. Acting Minister for Education (Schools) & Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport, Mr Ng Chee Meng visited the booth and showed great interests in the research projects. At the same time, SCCL Executive Director (Research & Development) Dr Tan Chee Lay, Senior Lecturer Dr Liu May and MOE Master Teacher Mdm Teoh Hee San delivered a speech on "Effective Use of Toolkits to Enhance Chinese Language Teaching" at the conference, which was well received by teacher participants.
