Singapore Centre for Chinese Language and the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning are co-organising the "Creativity, No Boundaries!" National Children's Story Writing Competition. The competition aims to promote local Chinese literary writing and cultivate children's interest of learning Chinese.

        The competition is divided into two sections: the on-the-spot competition for students and email submission for the public. The on-the-spot competition will be held at Queenstown Primary School and Guangyang Secondary School in September 2016, and the deadline for email submission is 31 December 2016.

        Winning entries of the competition will be published as a series of Chinese graded readers for local primary students, and each Singapore primary school will receive complimentary sets of the graded readers.
