2020 Chinese New Year Celebration

        On 16 January 2020, Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) organised a Chinese New Year Celebration at Three Degree Café, NTU Alumni Club. We were honoured to have SCCL partners from Curriculum Planning and Development Department (MOE), Asian Language and Culture Department (NIE), Confucius Institute (NTU), Chinese Department of Singapore University of Social Sciences, Singapore Press Holdings and Marshall Cavendish to join us in celebrating and welcoming the new year.

        The celebration began with the welcome note by Dr Foo Suan Fong, SCCL Executive Director. It was followed by Lo Hei sessions, a duet, and the harmonica and flute ensemble by SCCL staff. The Staff Welfare Committee prepared some mini games, for example, "Passing the Orange" and "Spot the Item". The highlight was the Lucky Draw session. We congratulate the winners and wish everyone a smooth sailing year ahead.
