Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) provided online training courses to Indonesia Chinese pre-school teachers on 1, 7 and 28 October 2022. We conducted a series of courses on the design and planning of activities for children. Dr Wu Yung-Sen, SCCL lecturer, was the lecturer for these courses.

          The training series consists of three courses, which aim to provide pre-school Chinese teachers with theoretical knowledge of curriculum activity design and planning. Practical examples and tips were shared with the pre-school Chinese teachers to assimilate the ideas into Indonesia's multilingual environment. This will promote positive and meaningful learning experiences in learning Chinese for young children.

          About 20 teachers from different parts of Indonesia took part in the training.
