Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) conducted a series of online courses on Chinese Culture and Social Etiquette for 20 lecturers from the President University in Indonesia from January to February 2023.

           Conducted by SCCL lecturers Dr Zhang Limei, Dr Gong Cheng, and Dr Han Yiting, the courses consisted of five modules, namely, (1) Traditional Chinese Festivals, (2) Traditional Chinese Cuisines, (3) Daily Social Etiquettes in Chinese Society, (4) Chinese Characters: A Fun Talk, and (5) Popular Culture in Modern Chinese Society.

          The feedbacks of the courses are highly positive. Participants report that the knowledge of Chinese culture they gained from the courses enables them to better communicate with their Chinese students.
