Learning Journey: Amazon Web Services

        As part of the 2025 Learning Journey, SCCL staff visited the Amazon Web Services (AWS) office in Singapore on 16 July 2025. The trip offered an insightful look into how cloud technologies are transforming education and the way we work. Through presentations by AWS specialists, staff learned about the practical applications of artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing in education, from personalised learning experiences to data-driven decision-making and efficient resource management. Staff also had hands-on experience in creating reusable and interesting applications with generative AI. The visit highlighted the growing importance of technology in shaping the future of education and inspired staff to further explore possibilities in digital transformation.
