Director-General of Education, MOE, Mr Wong Siew Hoong visited SCCL on 18 May 2016. The main purpose of his visit was to establish a deeper understanding of SCCL's development and achievements. He was accompanied by Deputy Director-General of Education (Professional Development), MOE, Mrs Chua-Lim Yen Ching.

        Mr Wong shared his opinions on education at a dialogue with SCCL's academic and research staff. It was an inspiring and fruitful exchange. Mr Wong was impressed by SCCL's research output. His profound insight on education offered SCCL staff much food for thought.

        After the dialogue session, Mr Wong visited several departments of the Centre, accompanied by SCCL Executive Director Dr Chin Chee Kuen, Executive Director (Research & Development) Dr Tan Chee Lay, and Deputy Executive Director Mr Chong Leong Chin.
