The Chinese Teachers' Forum was held on 1 October 2016 at Nanyang Junior College. This event was co-organised by SCCL and Lianhe Zaobao students' publications namely "zbCOMMA", "Thumbs Up" and "Thumbs Up Junior". Themed "An Embracing Heart", the event attracted over 300 teachers and students.

        At the forum, Ms Tay So Leng, Senior Medical Social Worker at Institute of Mental Health, cited common mental health problems and their root causes. She also shared her experience in counselling and methods of dealing with stress among adolescents. Chinese teachers from 6 primary and secondary schools were also invited to share their experiences in using newspaper materials for classroom teaching.
