1. Keep Clean and Carry On!

       On April 27, 2018, SCCL organised the "Keep Clean, Singapore!" event. The cleaning areas included the HDB void decks and car parks near the Ghim Moh Market and Food Centre. In this two-hour event, a total of 30kg of common waste and 17kg of recyclable waste were collected.

       SCCL has participated in the clean-up campaign initiated by the Public Hygiene Council (PHC) for two consecutive years. Besides doing our part to clean up the neighborhood, we hope to raise public awareness in keeping the environment clean and encourage positive social conduct.

2. Dragon Boat Festival Celebration

      Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival on June 6th, 2018 (Wednesday). The theme of SWC activities this year is "Team Bonding", which is also the theme for the celebration activities. On the day, SCCL staff gathered at Bamboo Villa, SCCL's own dining room, to enjoy a variety of rice dumplings together while chatting over tea.
