A Virtual Sharing Session Co-organised by SCCL and NIE
To promote Chinese Language education research and academic exchange and communication, the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) and the National Institute of Education (NIE) co-organised a virtual sharing session on 14 January 2022. The topic of the sharing session is "Preparing for Future Language Learners".

The 2nd Online Joint Seminar Co-organised by SCCL and EdUHK
To promote Chinese Language education research and academic exchange and communication between Singapore and Hong Kong, the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL), the Centre for Research on Chinese Language and Education (CRCLE) and the Department of Chinese Language Studies (CHL) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) co-organised the 2nd virtual joint seminar on 3 March 2022. The topic of the joint seminar is "Chinese Language Learning in Multilingual and Multicultural Context".

Result Announcement of "Creativity, No Boundaries!" National Children's Story Writing Competition
Jointly organised by the Singapore Centre of Chinese Language (SCCL) and the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL), the result of "Creativity, No Boundaries!" National Children's Story Writing Competition has been announced on SCCL Website. A total of 36 distinguishing and excellent entries were selected.

2022 National Preschool Teaching Aid Competition – Creative Picture Book Storyboard
To encourage early childhood educators, students, parents and members of the public in Singapore to design creative picture book storyboard as teaching aids for teaching and learning Chinese Language, SCCL organises the "2022 National Preschool Teaching Aid Competition – Creative Picture Book Storyboard".

2022 National Vlog Competition for Singapore Primary School Students
The "2022 National Vlog Competition for Singapore Primary School Students", co-organised by the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning and supported by Ngee Ann Polytechnic, is opened for registration on 21 March 2022. The objective of this competition is to improve the oral expression ability of primary school students and encourage students to develop a spirit of collaboration and the love for Chinese.

SCCL Staff Invited as Speakers
Master Teacher Mr Tang Chun Chieh was invited as a guest speaker of the "Asian International Chinese Language Education Seminar" on 14 December 2021. On 8 January 2022, SCCL Executive Director Dr Foo Suan Fong was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the 7th "Thailand Chinese Teachers Exchange Day".
