CPDD-NIE-SEAB-SCCL Sharing Forum 2019
The "CPDD-NIE-SEAB-SCCL Sharing Forum 2019" was held at SCCL on 29 July 2019. The annual sharing forum is a platform for curriculum specialists, academics, researchers and Master Teachers from the four organizations to exchange their views on topics related to Singapore Chinese language (CL) education.This year's event was graced by Mr Sin Kim Ho, Divisional Director, Curriculum Planning & Development Division 1.
Book Launch of "Singapore Preschool Chinese Teaching Materials in Daily Life"
Singapore Centre for Chinese Language launched a new book entitled "Singapore Preschool Chinese Teaching Materials in Daily Life" on 1st June 2019.
SCCL Staff Invited as Keynote Speaker
SCCL Research Consultant Dr Soh Kay Cheng was invited to be the speaker of the "Distinguished Speakers Series Workshops" organised by the Singapore Chinese Teachers' Union. Dr Fan Jinghua was invited to be the speaker of the "China-Singapore Symposium on Chinese Poetry Theory and Practice" and the "Deeper Teaching and Learning: Brain Cognition, Children's Language Development" seminar.
Activities in SCCL
SCCL participated in the "Keep Clean, Singapore!" programme on 29 April 2019 and visited Police Heritage Centre as a learning journey on 31 May 2019.
New Interns
A new batch of students joined SCCL as interns in the period of May to August.
New Publication
